Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Darlene Jacobs became interested in beauty at an early age, but it wasn’t until her 1998 enrollment in a Toronto-area beauty school, that her childhood interest developed into a passion.

Jacobs officially began her career in makeup at the Trish McEvoy counter at Nordstroms and has since gone on to become one of the most sought after artists in her field.

Darlene has worked with a long list of A-List photographers, including Hedi Slimane, Jeurgen Teller, Alexi Lubomirski, Rankin, Catherine Servel, Thomas Whiteside, Benny Horne and Mariano Vivanco. Her expert artistry has graced the pages of Vogue, i-D, Harper’s Bazaar, 032c, Elle, CR Fashion Book and Marie Claire. Her advertising work includes campaigns with Olay, Bergdorf Goodman, Nike, Nine West, Kate Spade New York, Levi’s, JC Penney, Target and Nordstroms.
